Lila Eulora (Pearson) Allen, 100, of the Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin, Indiana and formerly of Whiteland, Indiana passed away Friday, December 31, 2010. She was born April 27, 1910 in Hart County, Kentucky to Logan Pearson and Catherine (Stinson) Pearson. She married William Shade Pearson on October 7, 1932 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky; he preceded her in death. She had worked in the Whiteland Elementary School Cafeteria for many years. She was a member of Whiteland United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter Patricia Allen Deer and son-in-law Lance Deer of Whiteland; two grandchildren, Dr. Lois Ann Deer-Ascough (Jim) of Fort Collins, Colorado and Bruce Allen Deer (Melinda) of Benton, Arkansas; three great grandchildren, T. J. Ascough, Katie Ann Ascough, and Carson Deer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Shade Allen, brother John Pearson, and sisters Mary Alice Sego, Carrie Hicks, Susan Hardy, and Josie Pearson.
