Feliz, of Española, was predeceased by her father Estevan Trujillo and mother Clarita Trujillo.

Feliz was survived by her husband Alfonso Salazar; her daughter Anna Salazar of Albuquerque; son John Paul Salazar of Albuquerque, son Michael Salazar of Colorado Springs, CO; and daughter Donna Valdez (spouse Oliver Valdez) of Nambe; grandchildren Christina Valdez and Christal Valdez also of Nambe; her sister Marie (spouse Jake Vigil), sister Lucy (spouse Juan Trujillo), brother Nestor (spouse Nora Trujillo), brother Toby (spouse Elsie Trujillo), and her twin brother Julian (spouse Helen Trujillo), all of northern New Mexico; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Feliz was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, friend, and tia. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, and served regularly at the San Martin de Porres Soup Kitchen in Española. Feliz was the perfect name for her because she was always happy. She was known for her infectious laugh and beautiful smile. She loved spending time and playing games with her family, traveling with her husband, and reading and writing in her spare time. She was a business woman who worked for 40 years in the insurance business and owned A.F. Salazar Insurance Agency for 21 years until she retired in 2007.

A rosary was recited on 4 January 2011 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian Burial was on 5 January 2011 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Interment followed at the Rio Chiquito Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who have prayed so diligently for Feliz over the past few months. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072 Pittsfield, MA 01202.
