He was drafted into the Army and proudly served as a major during WWII and Korea. He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn, and his son, Bob, and daughter-in-law, Leslie Slamal of Riverside, CA. He will be missed by his grandson, Scott Slamal and his wife Becky of Steamboat Springs, CO, granddaughter Jill Peterson and husband Tim of Riverside, CA, and his precious great-granddaughters, Makayla and Megan. He is also survived by Dave Hill, son Conner, and Greg Hill.
