She died in a rehab facility in San Antonio, following hip surgery in a local hospital.
Nadine was preceded in death by Chuck Metcalf in 1993, grandson Jeff Cabral in 2004; brothers, Roy Slaton in 1977 and Raymond Slaton in 1970 and three baby siblings.
