William 'Woody' Ahrens , 77, of Franklin and formerly of Redwood Falls, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004, at Veterans Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Services are 10:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 15, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Redwood Falls, with burial in the church cemetery with military honors.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Thursday, at Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Redwood Falls with a Knights of Columbus rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation continues one hour before services Friday at the church.
He is survived by wife, Celestine "Sally" Ahrens of Windom; daughter, Sherri Zimmerman of Windom; five grandchildren; sister, Loretta Emerson of Kasota; and brother Floyd "Hop" Ahrens of Gibbon.
He was born April 28, 1927, in Redwood County, to William and Lena (Schmidt) Ahrens.
