Alfred Harris Daugherty, 57, Eugene, a former resident of Klamath Falls and Lakeview, died Jan. 8, 2001, of cancer.


Mr. Daugherty was born in California to Herman and Ollie Daugherty. He married Rebecca Cook in Woodland, Calif., on June 19, 1965. He also lived in Klamath Falls and Lakeview. Mr. Daugherty worked in the construction business. He was recently superintendent for Acme West and worked on the Tarpenning Terrace Retirement Center in Santa Clara. He was a member of Jehovah's Witness.


Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Daugherty of Eugene; sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Debbie Daughtery and Casey and Julie Daugherty of Eugene; brothers, Joe Daugherty of Weaverville, Calif., Ray and Paul Daugherty of Palermo, Calif., and Mike and Dwayne Daugherty of Homer, Alaska; sisters, Onita Cummins of Red Bluff, Calif., Christine Howarth of Davis, Calif., and Rita Van Cleave of West Virginia; and grandchildren, Brooke, Brittany, Paris and Kamie.
