LAMBROS DANIEL ALAMOND
Lambros Daniel Alamond, age 50, of 3415 Slaterville Road, Brooktondale, died Thursday, March 18, 1993 at the Tompkins Community Hospital, Ithaca.
Lambros was born March 8, 1943 at Jersey City, N.J. and had lived at Brooktondale since 1969. He was employed as a barber at the Community Corners Barber Shop.
On May 4, 1964 he married the former Judith Kinnie at Candor. He was predeceased by his mother, Sonia Lambrinos Alamond in 1978 and by a sister, Marguerite Alamond Tryon in 1987 and a brother Ernest P. Alamon in 1983.
Survivors include his father, Ernest P. Alamond of Richford, his wife of 28 years, Judith A. Alamond of Brooktondale; two sons, Neil P. and Mark S. of Trumansburg; a daughter, Donna Hemenway-Alamond of Ithaca; a brother, Chris Alamond of Whittier, Cal.; granddaughter, Jessica M. Hemenway of Brooktondale; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services were held on March 22 at the Perkins Funeral Home, with The Very Reverend Epthanios Perialas of St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, Ithaca officiating. Burial will be private in Fairfield Cemetery, Candor.
