Residence before the war: Swan, IN;
Enlisted on 8/12/1862 as a Private.

On 8/12/1862 he mustered into "B" Co. 12th Indiana Infantry.
He was Mustered Out on 5/15/1865.

L. F. Bradley, father of Mrs. J. N.
Marty of Courtland passed away
at his home in Topeka, January 31
at the age of 86 years l l months
and 11 days after several months
illness.
He was born February 20 1844
at Medina Ohio. Ho served three
years in the Civil war, enlisting
in the 12th Indiana Infantry. He
marched with Sherman on his
famous march to the sea. He
leaves an aged wife, two sons
and four daughters. Mr. Bradley
was one of the first merchants of
Courtland and a charter member
of the Courtland Christian church.
Funeral services were February 2
with interment at Topeka.
