William "Durr" Coe, 80, of Belmont, Ohio, died May 22, 2006 in Barnesville Hospital, Barnesville, Ohio.

Durr was a retired Navy Seaman First Class, having served during World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War and was a former POW.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood and Catherine Reid Coe and his brothers; John, Joseph, Donald and Leroy Coe.

Surviving are his wife; Carol Renforth coe, his children; Dolores and her husband Ron Minson, Jackueline and her husband Mark Blade, and Kayla Coe, his step-children; Beverly Wease Grimmett, Ruby Wease Kinney, Tina McGibben, Gino and Tony Allongi, seventeen grandchildren and his sisters; Mary Agnes Bielanski, Myrna Fields and Melba Belyk.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 11 am until 1 pm at the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio, followed by graveside military services by the Belmont County Council of the VFW at the Warnock Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Wenger will offer Protestant graveside services.
