Born in Springfield on June 16, 1958, she was the daughter of Joseph and Barbara (Cunningham) Garvey. As a lifelong Springfield resident, she attended Van Sickle Junior High and Technical High School. Besides her parents, she is survived by one son, Joseph Arvesen of Springfield, and many other family members and friends. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Sampson Funeral Home 710 Liberty Street, Springfield. Rites of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Chicopee .
