age 71, of Dahlonega, GA, died Wednesday,
December 22, 2010, at the Emory University
Hospital in Atlanta.

"Bozie" was a native and lifelong resident of
Lumpkin County and was retired from General
Motors after more than 30 years of service. He
served his country in the U.S. Army. "Bozie loved
church and attended Dahlonega Church of God
and numerous other churches in the area. He loved playing Santa Claus in which he had the last opportunity to do so last weekend before Christmas.

He was the son of the late Ross Adams and Lois
Edmondson and was also preceded in death by a
son, Tony Adams.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Shirley
Teague Adams, Dahlonega, GA; sons and
daughters-in-law, John and Angela Adams,
Gainesville, GA, Scotty and Wanda Adams,
Dahlonega, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Angel
and Jeff Grizzle, Dahlonega, GA; granddaughters,
Mary Elizabeth Pirkle, Bethany Adams, and Jordan
Grizzle; sister, Frances Wilson, Dahlonega, GA;
brothers-in-law, Lewis Teague, Cleveland, GA,
Jerry Teague, Jefferson, GA; sisters-in-law,
Grapell Harkins, Blairsville, GA, Lula Bell Davis,
Dahlonega, GA, and Geneva Nix, Cleveland, GA.
Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were scheduled for 1 PM Friday,
December 24, 2010 at the Banister Funeral Home
Chapel. Rev. Lyman Caldwell, Rev. Lanier Tatum,
and Rev. Larry Henry will officiate.

Interment followed in Mt. Hope Cemetery in
Dahlonega, GA.

The family received friends at the funeral home
on Thursday, December 23, 2010 from 4 PM until
9 PM.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to
Dahlonega Church of God.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega was in charge
of the arrangements.
