Funeral services for Mrs. Matilda Isabel Boone, 74, who died in her home on Santa Cruz Avenue Saturday night, were held this afternoon in the Hopkins Funeral Home in Dinuba. Interment was in the Smith Mountain Cemetery there. Local arrangements were in charge of the Shannon Chapel.
A native of California, Mrs. Boone had resided in Modesto for eleven years. Previous to that she had lived on a ranch near Hughson for nine years.
She leaves a daughter and four sons; Stella Morrell of Modesto, Roy G. Boone and Clarence Boone of Delano, Guy H. Boone of Orland and Clyde Boone of Dinuba. She was a sister of Nellie Harris of Fresno and Walter J. Blakemore of Turlock.
