DIED

Of diphtheria, at her home in Eagle Grove, Feb. 28th, Anna E. wife of Fredrick A. Minnard, age 23 years and 5 months.

Deceased was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Cole, of Williams, Iowa, and niece of Mrs. Wm. Sandy, of Rolfe. Her death was very sudden and unexpected, she leaves a husband and three little children, the youngest a babe 2 months old, and many relatives to mourn her loss. Her remains were taken to Williams for interment, where they were followed to the grave by her many friends who assisted in tenderly laying all that was mortal of her to rest. Mr. and Mrs. Cole were once old residents of McKnight’s Point. The family have the heartfelt sympathy of their many friends here in their sad bereavement, and may they be able to bow with submission to the will of God, for “The Lord gave and the Lord taketh away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
