Mary Jane Adams, age 76 of Centerville, Iowa passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, Iowa.
Mary was born October 9, 1933, the daughter of William and Edna(Mackey)Adams in Centerville, Iowa. She graduated froam Centerville High School with the Class of 1954. Mary worked as an aide at the Centerville Hospital and then went back to school to become an LPN. She retired from the hospital and worked for Centerville Nursing and Rehab. Mary enjoyed knitting and reading mystery books.
Mary is survived by nieces, Lind Sapp of Centerville, Iowa, Melissa(Bill)Gerber of Ames, Iowa, Barbara(Robert)Skidmore of Centerville, Iowa, Louis Cline of Des Moines, Iowa, Mary(Jimmy)Williams of Cincinnati, Ohio and Sharon Adams; and nephews, Jimmy Joe Adams, Dennis Adams, Bill Gesualdo of Numa, Iowa, Jim(Susie)Gesualdo of Numa, Iowa, and Carl(Joyce)Adams of Cincinnati, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside memorial service will be held 11am Wednesday December 29, 2010 at the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville, Iowa with Pastor Terra Amundson officiating. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.
