Funeral services for Byron "Bud" Clarke, age 78, will be held at 1:00 P. M. Saturday, September 22, 2007 from the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Dr. Don Thrasher officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Carroll County.
Mr. Clarke passed away Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Carroll County, TN on June 14, 1929, the son of the late William Andrew and Alma McKinney Clarke. He was a retired salesman for Heil Beauty Supply Company with 35 years of service. He was a member of Northside United Methodist Church and had served as a volunteer with the Meals on Wheels program of Jackson.
A loving father and grandfather, who was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Nancy Kaier Clarke on May 28, 2003, is survived by two daughters, Linda Fulghum and husband, Barry of Jackson, TN; Celia Max and husband, Stacey of Covington, TN; one son, Kenneth Clarke and wife, Belinda of Wildersville, TN; a sister, Betty Hill, and a brother, Maurice Clarke both of Jackson, TN; and by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
