Georgia Lorene Harvey, 90, of Greer passed away on Monday, May 10, 2010. Born in Hinton, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Cabel and Nola Sinar Ripley. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church, Greenville and retired as an LPN and a Medical Missionary to Haiti.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Ouida and Jim Williams of Greer; two sisters: Jean Thrift of Richmond, VA and Frances McClure of Simpsonville, SC; one brother: Edward Ripley of San Jose, CA; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Lorene was predeceased by her husband Larkin Earl Harvey, a brother Kenneth Ripley, and two sisters Muriel Moore and Ruby Lyons.

Funeral service will be Wed, May 12, 2010 at 12noon in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11- noon in the funeral home.
