Theodore Paul "Ted" Snyder was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on April 14, 1944, the son of Lucretia E. (Otto) and Richard E. Snyder.

He passed away on October 6, 2010, at his home in Cedar Hill, Texas, at the age of 66.

Ted retired from the United States Army with over 22 years of service.

He also retired from the U.S. Postal Service. 

He was an active member of the American Legion Post 81.

Ted is preceded in his death by his father, Richard E. Snyder, his sister JoAnn E. Snyder, and his brother Gene E. Snyder.

He is survived by his mother Lucretia Smith, sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Joseph Berube; and multiple nieces and nephews. 

Memorial services are 1:00 pm, Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville, Texas.

Interment with full military honors will follow at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
