Mr. Joe C. Cribbs - GUYTON - Mr. Joe C. Cribbs, 82, died, December 16, 2010, at his residence. Mr. Cribbs was born in Bullock County, but lived in Guyton for number of years, he was retired from Savannah Electric, and was a Baptist. Mr. Cribbs was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters, and one son, Joe Cribbs Jr. Survivors include his wife: Mrs. Lorene Cribbs of Guyton, two Daughters; Barbara Cribbs of Savannah and Vickie Holland of Stillwell, Kansas and one sister, Ann Westberry of Cartersville, GA, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grand, 3 step great grand and 3 step great great children. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, December 20, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., from the chapel of Riggs Funeral Home. Interment in the Foy Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to The Growth Fund at Egypt Baptist Church, 2166 Egypt Ardmore Road Guyton, Georgia 31312. Riggs Funeral Home Guyton, GA.
