Nephi "Jimmy" "Gator" Clark, Jr. 63 of Hortense, Ga. died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010 at his residence after an extended illness. The Glynn County, Ga. native had lived in Brantley Co., Ga. the past 34 years and was a member of Under His Wings Holiness Church in Hortense, Ga. He was a sandblaster, spray painter, and loved fishing. He was predeceased by sisters, Beverly Carter and Pat Hodge.
Survivors are his wife of 42 years: Sue Fletcher Clark of Hortense, Ga.; daughter: Tina and Shane Parker of Hortense, Ga.; a son: Bobby Wayne and Candi Clark of Hortense, Ga.; sister-in-law: Rose Fletcher of Hortense, Ga.; brothers: Rex and Brenda Clark of White Oak, Ga., Leonard and Janice Clark of Waynesville, Ga., Marvin and Pat Clark of Hortense, Ga., Mike and Margie Clark of Blackshear, Ga.; sisters: Sandra and Roger Box of Mt. Pleasant, Ga.; Louise and Jack King of Brunswick, Ga.; 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010 from Clark Family Cemetery, 142 Willow Dr. Hortense, Ga. 31543. Active pallbearers will be T.J. Miller, Dennis Anderson, Charlie Dawson, Jimmy Meeks, Harold Cope, George Bemis, and George Mershaw.
