Dorothy Perritt Sproles, a retired cashier, resident of Port Allen, La., and former resident of Bueche, La., died Dec. 12, 2010, at her residence. She was 72 and a native of north Louisiana. Interment was at Erwinville Baptist Church Cemetery, Erwinville, La. Sne was survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Elaine Sproles Thibodeaux, Port Allen, Terry Sproles Guidroz and Ronnie, Baton Rouge, Connie Sue Sproles, Port Allen, and Remona Sproles Garriga-Henandez and Jean, Lakeland, Fla.; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Patricia Sproles, French Settlement; adopted sons, Jesse Travis and Justin Cole Sproles, Lakeland; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Lucille Sutterfield, Mary and Dudley Hebert, Faye Fernandez, and Shirley Myers; six brothers and three sisters-in-law, David Perritt, Raymond and Evelina Perritt, Julian and Angie Perritt, George Perritt, Charlie Perritt, Harold "Pete" and Jackie; half brother, Samuel "Sammy" Perritt; 11 grandchildren, Stacey, Amanda, Jamie, Jessica, Jason, Holly, Alicia, Travis, Justin, Rashel and Lazarus; and 11 great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Sproles Jr.; parents, Boyd Perritt and Hassie Plunket Perritt; and two brothers, Bennen and Willis Perritt.
