LEWISTON - Phyllis Ann Berry, 70, of Phillips, died Monday evening, Dec. 13, 2010, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
She was born in Augusta on Nov. 29, 1940, the daughter of Raymond and Anita (Poulin) Merrill and attended Augusta schools.

She had worked at Lipman's Poultry, DeCoster Egg Farm, as a nurse's aide in Idaho, at Livermore Falls Shoe and as a secretary for the Chamber of Commerce and the University of Maine at Farmington.

She is survived by three sons, Boyd Mark Berry, and his wife, Anne, of Whitefield, Benji Carroll Berry of Littleton, Colo., and Charlie Dean Berry of Lewiston; two daughters, Tammy Ann Begin, and her husband, Gary, of Wilton, and Renee Marie Maddox of Littleton, Colo.; brothers Malcolm Merrill of Hollis Center and Bill Bailey of Avon; sisters Merlene Bentley of Limington, Marsha Savage of Oklahoma, Priscilla Higgins of Wilton, Sheila Jalbert of Phillips and Jeannine Rusgrove of Branford, Conn.; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; siblings Dickie, Phillip and Paul Dutil, and Sylvia Howe.

Spring interment will be at the Mile Square Cemetery in Avon. (Morning SEntinel 12/15/2010)
