Mrs. Schultz was a devoted & loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother. She was pretty special to all of us. She had one daughter, Arlene Nickolai & one son, Russell Schultz. Papac (as we called him) and Ahmah (her nickname) lived in Spring Lake for many, many years and raised their family there. As a child it was always a special treat to stay at her house for a week during summer vacation. They always had a huge garden every year until age finally caught up with them. She worked at Midwestern Glove in Berlin Wisconsin until the time of her retirement at the age of 72. After her retirement she took care of her husband, William F. Schultz,(please visit his memorial page) who had had a stroke & heart attack earlier. She also enjoyed taking care of her flower garden & vegetable garden. She made a strawberry jam that was a food group all by itself! She enjoyed being a "Grandma" & "Great Grandma" a lot. It made her very happy! She was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church in Neshkoro at the time of her death. She was always reminding us to make to Church on Sunday. She passed away very peacefully in her own bed at her home in Spring Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband William, who she missed terribly since he passed away, parents, Emil & Bertha Hardel & one sister, Erma Hardel Wagner. She is buried next to her husband in Neshkoro. She was loved & respected by all who knew her. She was a fantastic person. I miss her.

Even today, it seems just like yesterday that she was here with us.

Cause of Death: Old age and Cancer.
