Obituary:
Maurice Strong, a retired civil servant died April 12, 1994 at the age of 83.
The Minnesota native, who lived in Mobile for many years, was active with the Boy Scouts of America.
He had been residing at Shadow Ridge Apartments in Citronelle at the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife Helen Baker Pierce Strong, daughter Kay Oliviera, two sons Rex and Eric Strong, and three step sons Michael Pierce of Mobile, James Ray Pierce of Jacksonville FL and Bobby Pierce of Mobile.
Graveside services were held at 11 am on April 14 in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were made by Radney Funeral Home.

His first wife was named Blanche.
