Mrs. Ethel Elliott Lewis, 44 year old mother of six children, died early this morning at her home, 140 Third Street, following a long illness.
A native of Bozeman, Montana, Mrs. Elliott had made her ome in Pacific Grove for the past 39 years, having come here as a child.
She was a member of the Congregational Church and the Ladies of the G.A.R.
She leaves her husband, Frederick E. Lewis and six children all of Pacific Grove. The children are Mrs. C. L. Stevens, Elinor E. Lewis, Grace E. Lewis, John A. Lewis, Anna Mae Lewis, and Edna C. Lewis, and Frederick H. Lewis. Other relatives include a sister Mrs. Mary Bacon of San Andreas, and three brothers: J. E. Elliott, Los Angeles; A. R. Elliott, San Gabriel and W. F. Elliott, Sacramento.
Funeral services, which will be in charge of the Paul Mortuary, are to be announced later.

The Rev. Elwood Hunter will officiate, assisted by the ladies of the G.A.R. Creametion will follow in Salinas.
Mrs. Lewis, a native of Bozeman, Montana, came to Pacific Grove as a child. She was a graduate of the Pacific Grove high school, a member of the Mayflower Congregational church and the Ladies of the G.A.R.
She is survived by her husband Frederick E. Lewis, and six children, all of Pacific Grove. The children are Mrs. C.L. Stevens, Elwin E. Lewis, Grace E. Lewis, John A. Lewis, Anna May Lewis, Edna C. Lewis, Frederick H. Lewis. Other relatives include a sister, Mrs. Mary Bacon of San Andreas, and three brothers, J.E. Elliott of Los Angeles, A. R. Elliott, of San Grabriel, and W.F. Elliott, Sacramento.
