She came to Odessa as a young woman on Oct 10, 1901. In July of 1902 she was married to Ludwig Doering, they farmed southwest of Odessa for 25 years. She has made her home in Reardan for the past 23 years where she was known by all for the lovely flowers she grew and loved.
