ALVEAR, Victor Manuel. 77 of Tampa, passed away on Dec. 08, 2010. Victor was born in Manhattan, NY on Feb.12, 1933 to the late Manuel Alvear and Celestina Rios Alvear. Victor was a true fan of the Detroit Lions, Pistons, Tigers, and Red Wings. He was a beloved husband, father, and grand-father and is survived by his wife, Blasina; sons, Victor M. Alvear Jr. and wife, Marisela , Daniel Alvear and wife, Mayra, Alan Anthony Alvear and wife, Robin; daughters, Myrna AlvearNoguera and husband, Tony, Linda Celeste Jewett and husband, Johnny, Cindy Lee Mull and husband, Henry; sister, Irma Colantino and husband, Thomas; 14 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by sons, Manuel and Leslie. Visitation will be on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 10am to 12noon with service at noon, all at Gonzalez Funeral Home, Tampa. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
