The funeral will be 11 am Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Maquoketa, for Kevin Dean "Muskrat" Arterberry, 16, of Maquoketa, who died Sunday, May 7, 1995, at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa, from injuries received in an automobile accident. Rev Dennis Cain will officiate. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 pm today at Carson Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Iron Hill Cemetery, rural Maquoketa, where his grandfather is buried. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Fischer, Clayton Clark, John Manning JR, David Carlson, Joey Arterberry, & Eric Fischer.

He was born September 7, 1978, Maquoketa, to Larry & Deborah Fisher Arterberry. He was a freshman at Maquoketa Community High School. He was an avid fisherman & hunter & enjoyed the outdoors. Survivors include his parents of Maquoketa, a half-brother, Joey Arterberry of Dubuque, & grandmothers, Esther Fischer of Dubuque & Mary (Orville) Arterberry of Maquoketa. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers.
