ARMSTRONG
Mrs. C. B. Canon Sr. died Sunday evening in this city after a lingering illness. She has been an invalid for some time yet her christian spirit has never failed her but has been a blessing and inspiration to those who formed her acquaintance. She is dead but her spirit life still lives with those whom she did so much for. She lived as she thought, and she thought as the God who directed her, inspired her to think. Many the heart that has been moved to a higher view of life by her untainted purity and christian love. She has been a resident of Emmet county for many years and leaves two daughters and four sons, all living in Emmet county. Her husband died a few years ago.
