Mary was born August 18, 1944 in Richmond, Virginia. The Grahek family moved many times during Celia's childhood until finally settling in Joliet in 1956. Celia attended St. Paul's Catholic Grade School and was a 1962 graduate of St. Francis Academy. She later attended Little Company of Mary Nursing School in Evergreen Park, Illinois to become a registered nurse and received her BS in Nursing from Illinois Benedictine College in Lisle, Illinois. Celia began her nursing career at St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet and later worked as a school nurse for Naperville School District #203 and West Chicago School District #33.
She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, boating and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Celia adored caring for her cats, Pixie and Dixie and her grand-cats, Butterscotch and Lily.
Mary was the beloved wife of Terry St. Germain, whom she married October 15, 1966, loving mother of Melissa St. Germain and Christine (Bart) Maugeri-St. Germain, devoted daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Grahek, dear twin sister of Sarah Swienton, adored sister of James (Kathy) Grahek, Peggy (George) Madden, Bob (Laurie) Grahek and Susie (Jay) Kratz, fond aunt of Julie (Scott), Jennifer (Bob), Ryan, Matt, Nick, Katey, Emily, Mike (Suzanne), Kim (Matt), Todd (Sherry), Tiffany (Brian) and Stephanie, Justin and Jordan.
