James T. Lynch, 91, of Seneca, died passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Pleasant View. Visitation will be from 12:30pm to 2pm, Friday, September 3, 2010 at St. Patrick's Church in Seneca, followed at 2:00 p.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial with the Monsignor Raymond Boyle officiating. Burial will be in Mount Cavalry Cemetery in Seneca, with military services. Arrangements were entrusted to Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home.
James was born August 21, 1919, in Chicago, Illinois to Timothy and Marie (Killelea) Lynch. He married Blanch Katherine Lynch October 26, 1940. She died November 19, 2004. He was a proud farmer who greatly enjoyed caring for his land. He was also a former Traffic Manager for Illinois Nitrogen. James served in the United States Army during World War II in Iran and Iraq where he was a military policeman.
He is survived by one son, Jim (Eleanor) Lynch of Monterey County, CA.
James was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his sister, Elizabeth and his brother, William.
