Brooklet - Mrs. Tyrel Minick, 71, died Wednesday at her home after a long illness. The Bulloch County native had lived in the Leefield section of Bulloch County all of her life and was a member of the Leefield Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Elise Lee of Atlanta; a son, Addison Minick of Brooklet; two sisters, Mrs. Letha Proveau of Lake Waler, Fla., and Mrs. Dora Miller of Plant City, Fla.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Leefield Baptist Church, with burial in the Brooklet City Cemetery. Smith-Tillman Mortuary of Statesboro is in charge.
