A quiet wedding of this afternoon took place at 4 o'clock at the home of L. L. McFall, 2318 Hancock avenue, when his sister, Miss Georgia McFall of Fremont, Iowa, became the bride of William J. Bennett of Oskaloosa, Iowa. Dr. Frank Cole, pastor of St. John's Methodist church, officiated. There were no attendants. The bride wore her traveling dress, a tailored suit of dark blue broadcloth, with cream chiffon bodice, and hat to match her suit. Mr. and Mrs. Bennett left at 4:50 for a wedding trip through Illinois, where they will visit relatives and friends for two weeks. They will reside at Oskaloosa, where Mr. Bennett is proprietor of a bakery. Among the guests at the wedding were Mrs. J. H. Harkin, mother of the bride, of Fremont, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Bennett, parents of the groom, of Oskaloosa, and Mrs. G. B. Clark, of Montana, a sister of the bride.

W. J. Bennett, Married in Davenport, Dies in Oskaloosa.

On Oct. 21 of this years, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. McFall, 2318 Hancock avenue, occurred the marriage of W. J. Bennett of Oskaloosa and Miss Georgia McFall of Fremont, Iowa. A particularly sad incident at this time is the death of Mr. Bennett which occurred Sunday evening at his home in Oskaloosa.

The marriage ceremony in this city was performed by Rev. Frank Cole, pastor of St. John's church. The happy couple departed on a two week's honeymoon and upon their return home, Mr. Bennett was taken down with typhoid fever. He steadily grew worse until his death yesterday. He was 26 years old.

The funeral Will be held at Oskaloosa at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs McFall of Davenport will attend.
