SPECIAL RANGER

Clyde Andrew Bradford was born in November, 1884, in Round Rock, Williamson County, Texas, to Columbus Randolph "Lum" Bradford and Lula V. Coffee. He stood 6ft 1 1/4 in tall, had blue eyes, brown hair and a medium complexion. He was married to Myrtle McClure in about 1910. They have two children listed, Louise T. and Charles W. Clyde was a merchant in Austin, Travis County, Texas. In 1910, he was the city marshall of El Centro, Imperial County, California. Clyde enlisted in the Texas Rangers as a SPECIAL RANGER from October 24, 1918 until January 15, 1919. In 1920, he was a paint merchant in Austin. In 1930, he was working as an insurance agent in Austin, Travis County, Texas. Clyde Andrew Bradford died February 23, 1956 in Travis County, Texas. He was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, in Austin, Travis County Texas.
