Article from the "News" of Joliet, Illinois dated 11 Mar 1915:
Mrs. Lillian Strong received word Wednesday of the sudden death of her mother, Mrs. Heacox of Morris. Mrs. Strong spent some days with her mother two weeks ago, when she had a slight stroke of paralysis. She passed away Wednesday morning.

Obituary from the "News" of Joliet, Illinois dated 16 Mar 1915:
The funeral of Mrs. H. A. Heacox occurred Saturday in Morris at 10 a.m., at the M. E. church, with Rev. A. C. Geyer, officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Heacox was the mother of Mrs. Lillian Strong, of this village. Mrs Heacox was born on a farm six miles north of Morris, and had since her marriage, lived in that vicinity until about ten years ago, when she moved to Morris. She leaves to miss the kind mother, three daughters and three sons, Ed., of Deering, North Dakota; Frank, of Britt, Iowa; Fred, at home; Mrs. Ed Strong, of Mazon; Mrs. Tracy Robinson, of Chicago, and Mrs. W. H. Reardon, of Morris. She had long been a member of the M. E. church.
