Surviving are one son, Amos Morlan of West Peoria, Illinois; one daughter, Katina (Charles) Cook of East Galesburg, Illinois; grandchildren, Darrien Dilts, Josie Cook, Mason Cook, Cydney Dilts, Kayla Dilts and Kaleb Cook; one sister, Barb Swank of Abingdon, Illinois and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Gene Morlan; and two nephews: Steve Swank and Jim Swank.
He was raised and educated in Abingdon, Illinois graduating from Abingdon High School in 1971. He worked at United Facilities in Galesburg, Illinois and part-time as a janitor at the Public Safety Building in Galesburg, Illinois. He enjoyed playing pool.
