Baldwin was born August 16, 1908, in Lamar County, Alabama. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Granbury.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Ashby and M.A. Baldwin; son, Bobbie D. Ashby; daughters, Cecil "Pete" Warner and Bonnie Lee Askins; and brother, J.D. Long.
Survivors: Four sons, Carl Ashby of Kalama, Wash., John Ashby of Reno, Texas, Robert Ashby of Lawton, Okla., and Melvin Baldwin of Weatherford; five daughters, Ada Randall of Fort Worth, Marlene Payne and Shirley Hopper of Granbury, Betty Pruett of Arlington and Loette Pugh of Mineral Wells; two brothers, Alvis F.
