SAMUEL J. ABDO

Rosary for Samuel J. Abdo, 66(?), retired head elevator operator at the Public Safety Building, will be said at 8 o'clock tonight in St. Margaret's church. Requiem Mass will be said at 9:30 o'clock tomorrow in the church, with burial in Calvary under the direction of Joseph R. Manning & Sons.

Mr. Abdo came to Seattle 40 years ago from Syria, his birthplace. He had worked in the old and new Public Safety Buildings for a total of 37 years. He retired 18 months ago. He died Friday in a hospital after a brief illness.

Mr. Abdo was a member of the Syrian - American Lebanese Club. He lived at 3429 12th Av. W.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Victoria Collar and Mrs. Frances Collar; four sons, Victor J., Frank, Alfred and Daniel Abdo, all of Seattle, and nine grandchildren. (Seattle Dailly Times, Sunday, November 23, 1952, Page 51)
