Mary D. (Robertson) Lavasseur Barry, of Marshfield, December 2, at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late John J. Barry. Loving mother of Nancy Barry of Scituate, John Barry of Greenland, NH., Judith Barry of Plympton and Michael Barry of Manomet. Grandmother of Alyssa, Michael and Molly Hale, Craig and Kyle Palmstrom and John Barry. Great-grandmother of Jackson Prettyman. Sister of Christine Derby of San Diego, Isabelle Gassett of Halifax, Margaret Pearson of Swampscott, George Robertson of Marshfield, the late Ina Lonsdale, the late John Robertson, the late Helen ONeill and the late Thomas Robertson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary was born in Boston and grew up in Dorchester; she graduated from the Jeremiah Burke High School in Dorchester. Mary has lived in Marshfield for 42 years. She was a secretary for 15 years at the DAgostino and Barrett Attorneys Office in Marshfield. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 8, from 9 to 11 a.m. in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St, Rte. 139, Marshfield. Followed by a Funeral Service in the Victory Baptist Church Brant Rock, Marshfield, MA. at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Winslow Cemetery, Marshfield.
