Mrs. Brown died Friday, 28 August 1987. She was born in Lamar County on 1 June 1904, a daughter of Tom Peyton and Linnie Warren Peyton.
Surviving are a brother, Roy Peyton of McNeil, Ark.; a sister, Precious Brown of Lubbock; three granddaughters, Juanita Peyton of Albuquerque, N.M., Wanda Lou Wardlow of Albuquerque and Joan Peyton of Los Angeles, Calif.; and one grandson, Harold Ray Peyton of Albuquerque."
