Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today (December 16, 1968) at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church for Ajdie Meche, 85, who died at 8 a.m. Sunday in Nederland, Texas.
Burial will be in the church cemtery.
He is survived by eight sons Cyrpus Meche, Church Point, Willis Meche, Lawtell, Murphy Meche, Lafayette, Therman Meche, Port Neches, Texas, Leroy Meche and Loisy Meche, Lake Charles, Elton Meche and Hubert Meche, Vidor, Texas; and three daughters, Mrs. Jack Venable, Church Point, Mrs. Paul Lavergne and Mrs. George Bergeron, Baton Rouge; one brother Amede Meche, Church Point; one sister, Mrs. Elie Royer, Rayne.
