Shared stone with wife, Elmira Roberts Judson. Stone reads: Members of the Oregon Methodist mission under Jason Lee. Arrive in the Oregon Country June 1, 1840. The brass plaque in the center of the stone was placed by the D.A.R. commemorating those men who voted for the Oregon Territory to become part of the United States, in 1843 at Champoeg, Oregon.
