CAPTAIN - LAFD
William Harold Mulligan was born on Nov 1, 1920 in Leadville, CO, to Bernard Joseph Mulligan, Sr and the former Elizabeth Brennan.
In the late 1920's the family moved from Colorado to Los Angeles, California.
Bill gratuated from Loyola High school and entered the U.S. Navy.
Following WW II, Bill went on to become a fireman with the Los Angeles Fire Department, from October 28, 1947 to June 28, 1977. He retired as a Captain.
Bill married Marilyn Joan Grady June 17, 1962, in Los Angeles, at the St. Anselm Catholic Church. They honeymooned in Hawaii and settled in Los Angeles. They had one son.
Joan was a gratuate of the Bishop Johnson College of Nursing and Los Angeles State College.
Bill was 76 when he passed away Feb 11, 1997, at Rancho Palos Verdes, Los Angeles, California.

Interment at Green Hills Memorial Park.
His grave location is:
Garden of Reflection Lawn Crypt: 723 D
That section is just up behind the cemetery chapel. It is a newer section with many "family estates", small private gardens for a family. He is in a lawn area in a center area next to the walkway.
