Has Been Ill for Several Years – Leaves 7 Daughters—Funeral Sunday

Edward Jourdan White, age 57 years, died at 2:30 this morning at his home on West Fifth Street. He had been in poor health for the last fifteen years and his decline had been especially noticeable the last two years. His serious illness began a few weeks ago.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones & McElhinney chapel at three o'clock Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. Leslie Mountford of the Second United Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. It is announced that friends of the family may call at the undertaking parlors.
In spite of his ill health, Mr. White was of a happy disposition and fully enjoyed life. He was commonly known as "Jud" to his many friends. He had a splendid family, to whom his death is a severe blow. They have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.

He was married 36 years ago on September 30 to Minnie Mills from Nichols, Iowa and they came to Washington County 34 years ago.
