The 1925 Iowa census for Perry, Tama, lists Emma's parents as John and Helen (Lang) Lawson, while the same census lists her sister Margaret Lawson Child's parents as John and Mary (Lang) Lawson. Census records sometimes switch first and middle names when recording the same person. My own gg grandmother is sometimes listed as Harriet R. and sometimes as Rachel H. I believe that Helen and Mary are two names for the same person, Emma's mother.

Gravesite Details
Emma's inscription is on the north face of the monument, making it particularly difficult to get a clear photo. I photographed it from an oblique angle to catch the reflection from the sky.
