Mary R. Little, 80, a resident of 214 S. Washington Street, Muncy, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 in the Williamsport Hospital.
Cause of death asystole.
Born in Muncy, Lycoming County, PA, on Saturday, October 30, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel (Lockard) Ritter.
She was the wife of Robert E. Little with whom she celebrated a 57th wedding anniversary on February 26, 2006.
Mary was a 1944 graduate of Muncy-Muncy Creek High School. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Muncy Presbyterian Church. Mary was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She greatly enjoyed the company of her family.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Michael E. and Linda Little, Millville, PA; two daughters and one son-in-law, Carol E. Crawford, Pennsdale, PA; Virginia E. and Mark Glossner, Montoursville, PA; six grandchildren, Heather Snyder; Bonnie Harmon; Ricci Poust; Amy Ickes; Mary Smith; T. Chester Smith. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by one brother, C. Philip Ritter.
Friends and relative are invited to the graveside committal service on Friday, December 1, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. in the Muncy Cemetery. A celebration of Mary's life will follow at 11:00 A.M. in the Muncy Presbyterian Church, East Penn Street, Muncy, PA with Rev. John A. Brindger officiating.
