ROGERS — Vivian Joyce Allen, 87, of Rogers died Nov. 30, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. She was born March 2, 1923, in Antoine to Louis Samuel and Narcissus Looney Bertschy.
She was valedictorian of Bentonville High School Class of 1941.
Survivors include her husband, Julius Melvin Allen; four brothers, including Calvin Bertschy of Bentonville, and Leon Bertschy and wife Peggy and Doug Bertschy and wife Shirley all of Gravette; and four sisters, including Verna Dodd and husband Sherrel of Garfield.
A visitation will be held 4 to 6 p.m. today, Dec. 2, at Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
