Jane was the daughter of Daniel Coleman of England. She married Edwin Bentley (1832-1865) (FAG # 232539239) in Newport Pagnell, Buckingham, England in 1848. They had at least 3 children: Mary Jane Bentley 1847 (FAG # 232539264), who married George Merral (FAG # 188591297) in England, Henry N. Bentley 1851, who came to the USA and William Bentley 1852. In 1881, after her husband died in England, she immigrated to the USA with her son, Henry. She lived with him and his family.
"Obit: Bentley--On Dec. 2, 1905, Jane, widow of Edwin Bentley, in her 82d year, at the residence of her son, Henry N. Bentley, 107 Rochelle ave., Wissahickon. Funeral on Wednesday at 2:30 P.M. Interment at West Laurel Hill Cemetery. (Philadelphia Inquirer (Philadelphia, PA). Volume: 153. Issue: 157. Page: 6. Monday, December 4, 1905)"
