ANAYA
Rosary will be said today at 7 p.m. in the West Funeral Home chapel for Consuelo Anaya, 87, who died in a Carlsbad nursing home Friday.
Funeral Mass will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the San Jose Mission with the Rev. Alquin Hunter of the Mission officiating. Burial will be in Carlsbad Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ricardo Hernandez, Isreal Hernandez, Efran Medrano, Zeke Hernandez, Ralph Medrano and Hector Yvarra.
She was born in Presidio, Texas where she married her husband, the late Margareto Anaya. She moved here in 1941, and was a member of the San Jose Mission.
Survivors include; a daughter, Elodia Reese, Carlsbad; two brothers, Amador Estrada of Prsidio and Jose Estrada, Lovington; three sisters, Eduvigen Yanez, Maria Medrano and Trinidad Medrano, all of Carlsbad; a granddaughter, Grace Hernandez, and a grandson, Ricardo Lee Hernandez, both of Carlsbad.
