Del Norte Prospector, Del Norte, Colorado February 7, 1969. Leland Flaugh was fatally injured 3 1/2 miles back in the Commodore tunnel when a heavy bulkhead door fell on him. A native of Pagosa Springs, he was an employee of the state highway maintenance crew for 22 years. He married Arlene Harker in Pagosa Springs in June, 1944. He is survived by his wife, sons Orville and Ronnie, daughters Mrs. Dixie McDonald and Sandra, a senior at Creede. A brother and sister also survive.
