Nathan S. Aller Sr., 86, of Lamson Road died Thursday at Auburn Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Phoenix, Mr. Aller also lived in Baldwinsville, Jordan and Fulton before moving to Little Utica 28 years ago. He retired in 1973 after 28 years as owner and operator of Nate Aller Grocery in Little Utica. Mr. Aller also was employed with Armour Meat Packing Co., Syracuse, Franklin Air-Cooled Engines, Liverpool, and the United States Government Ammunition Project in Radisson.
His wife, the former Jane E. Matson, died in 1983.
Surviving are two sons, Nathan S. Jr. of Sutherlin, Ore., and Lawrence M. of DeRuyter; a daughter, Sara Jane Sliva of Fulton; a sister, Dorothy A. Marot of Wilbraham, Mass.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nephews; and a niece.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton, the Rev. James F. Main Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 910 Fay St.
